Carnaby TempleCarnaby Temple

This was built by the Strickland family of Boynton Hall in the 18th century. It was briefly used as a lookout post during World War II, but basically it is just a folly. It is octagonal and supposed to be loosely based on the Greek Temple of the Four Winds. The photos show how it looks now after repairs and how it was before. The old photo was taken during a blizzard.
